Join a Zoom Meeting via Canvas

Join a Zoom meeting directly from your Canvas course:

  1. Go to your Canvas course.
  2. Click “Zoom” in your course navigation menu.
  3. In the “Upcoming Meetings” tab of the Zoom Meeting area, locate your scheduled meeting.
  4. Click the “Join” button to the right of the meeting.


  1. You will be prompted to “Open Zoom Meetings” and enter the meeting room.
  2. If you do not have Zoom on your computer or mobile device, you will be prompted to “download & run Zoom” or install the Zoom app.


  1. If you do not see the Zoom meeting room screen after install, click “Zoom” in the course menu to the left and click the “Join” button for the meeting again.
