Use the Canvas Rich Content Editor

You can use Canvas's Rich Content Editor to edit various items, including Announcements, Pages, Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes.

The Rich Content Editor has three sections: 

1. Menu bar
2. Toolbar
3. Content area

The toolbar is grouped by common icons and functions that allow you to:

4. Format text
5. Insert links, images, media, and documents
6. Access external tools, including Panopto
7. Format paragraphs
8. Use additional functions, including clearing formatting, adding tables, and inserting equations
