How to Create Assignment Groups

Assignment Groups help organize your assignments and provide the framework to weigh grades. Assignment Groups are created in the Assignments section.

 

1. Click “Assignments” (1). This may be in gray. This indicates that students do not have access to the Assignments section directly

2. Click “+Group” (2).

3. Name the Group (3) and Click “Save” (4).

Consider creating Assignment Groups for each of your Criteria in your Course Syllabus.

Note: Be sure to add an Assignment to the Modules for student use.
